Hey, I’m Laurel. For most of my life I have been a homebody with the responsibilities of animals, kids, and a career in special education, only dreaming of travel. Since recently opening a new chapter of my life, I’ve been able to enjoy traveling with my lovely sister-in-law and our families. I love to incorporate my passions for dancing and scuba diving onto our trips, and I love experiencing other cultures and cuisines. People are always curious about our adventures and many hope to travel themselves, so we decided to put these pages together to share our experiences and to give our friends inspiration for creating their own journeys. And because we are travel agents, we can definitely arrange it for you!
Hi, I’m Debbie. When I was a girl my parents talked about travel. They would mention the wonderful places we were going to go, but then never went. When I was a mother I decided that I would not mention anything that I wasn’t going to do, and so we went. We traveled to all kinds of places and saw all kinds of things. I learned quickly how small the world really was and how travel was the very best education money could buy. I was hooked. I spent countless hours planning trips for my family and friends. I love to shop travel, talk travel and experience travel. Everyone told me I should be a travel agent. I just shrugged my shoulders and wondered how I would really do that. I was a tax professional with a busy practice, two children at home and active in non-profit work. Then one day the kids moved on to college and I had an accounting manager handing the day to day part of my accounting practice and my busy complicated life became much less so. There are only so many Rotary events I can plan and tax season only keeps me crazy for a few months. The door was open and I stepped through. I started as an agent for a big company and after a few years and a pandemic, I realized that I would rather be on my own, doing travel booking and sales my way. I am enjoying this new chapter of my life. Let the adventures continue.
